Kitties, Titties and Winks A Novel by TWScott #comingsoon

After several of you sent e-mails about my last project, it was made clear to me that there are those who appreciate a toasty derriere.  I am always happy to consider topics suggested by my followers and or fan base here and on Twitter.

I put aside my current project of Gods and Insects and came up with over 90K words of fantasy juxtaposed with some appropriate thoughts and situations regarding clothing optional places and activities.

This novel which is at the editor; is more fantasy than about nudism but, the clothing optional ideals I hold sacrosanct and do not besmirch them…much…  I do take artistic license just a little.

The tagline “Nudity is Normal” is in the book.

Follow me here and or on Twitter for release dates.  If the last two Nudists novels are any indication, there seem to be many of you who appreciate that kind of writing. Thanks for the encouragement!

Two college roommates graduate and sink back into their regular home routine. Once returning home to live with their parent’s things are eerily familiar.  From sleeping late to picking up their chores before college, backsliding to childhood was almost too easy.

When the former roommates missed each other enough, they decided to get together to shop and talk and do what young ladies do. One of the two takes the risk of alienating her closest friend by finally acknowledging her feelings for her.  This admission sparks a conversation which starts the snowball rolling as the two embrace their feelings taking them to the next level.  One of them, however, has a dark fantasy and is hopeful the other will help her play it out.

Joan’s mother; also attracted to ladies makes for an interesting twist to the story. Gloria plots to make money, treating her daughter’s new lover as an object with the idea to offer to the highest bidder. Her plan goes awry when emotions enter into the developing triangle that would divide most.   This story is rife with humorous situations, romance, and fantasy.

Kitties, Titties and Winks, is an enjoyable lighthearted lesfic with some mild BDSM and lots of love.

When Mellissa is encouraged and eventually transformed into a model by Joan’s mother, the story takes flight.  The journey will have you turning the pages as you come to know the characters and enjoy the sensations of young people in love while experimenting with their sexuality. Adult 18+

If you know of, or are an agent, that would like to represent a proven author, I am still an independent author after 30 published novels which are selling all over the globe.

Why?

  • Each Query letter takes a minimum of four hours if you do it correctly.
  • Firstly you must subscribe to a service for authors which assist you in knowing if they are a predator or editor. *
  • You must then research the field of possible agents that have your particular Genre in their portfolio of desired works.
  • You need to look at if they are accepting new submissions.
  • Then you must research the agent to see what they have published recently and how often they actually release something.
  • Then you must look at what they published and see if it is indeed similar to what you are offering.
  • Now you must read and adhere to the specifics of the query letter format that they require to even look at your submission.  Every jot and tittle must be strictly observed.
  • Now, if you have done all that, you then word the “hook” as best you possibly can.

Four hours for each letter is a conservative estimate, and no two agents want it the same way.

When you read their requirement, and then at the end, they say something to the effect “If you never hear from us consider it a pass!”  Why indeed

*A word about predators.

There are many out there who are indeed predators who “prey” on independent authors. For a small Dollar amount, they guarantee to get your manuscript in front of the right people.  For a  few dollars, they will edit your document. For a few dollars, they will do this or that.

There is nothing wrong with a service, it is capitalism.  What makes you the proverbial sheep in a field of wolves???  Your manuscript is the next Tale of Two Cities, you know it in your heart of hearts, you just need to get past the bubble gum chewing, snot-nosed intern, working for their mother in her basement, and get your work on their desk.

You need to get past the intern with big plans to be an agent one day so they can dream of throwing your manuscript in the proverbial trash because they know more than their boss.

Those predators out there have taken advantage of better, smarter, brighter people than you, so don’t be fooled.

In short you have no objectivity, that makes you the sheep.

Everyone thinks that they can write.  Teens who recently found that there are more to words than expletives believe that they can write.  All of those millions of want to be authors are peddling their “stuff” in the form of query letters to those interns who think that they can also write.

Amazon and other “services” take 30% or your royalties and possibly more to host your manuscript and that is it.  They don’t edit, assist with the cover art, marketing, nothing!

They too will sell you services in the way of marketing…They get your money….

Agents take 30%, and they edit, create cover art, market and assist you with your story for consistency and a whole host of other things.  They also can get more than $2.99 for 100,000 words.

On Amazon and the like, you are competing with everyone!  It only takes one person who feels that you are a threat to buy your book and then write a terrible review.  I had this happen to my number one best selling book.  It is clear that they never read it from what they wrote.

While authors are not in competition, and I do my best to assist other authors, the reality is that some are out there who just are not friendly people.

The bottom line my pretty’s is this.  If you think you can write. Good for you.  If you want to write, good for you.  If you’re going to spend hours of your life begging for some agent to look at your work, good for you.

I write for the pleasure of writing and creating the story.  I write because I continually get people contacting me telling me that they liked this or that.  Some suggest I might change this or that and that is ok.  I do it for me!  I still have a day job.

When I look at my bank statement and I see all those Amazon deposits from different countries it gives me some satisfaction as well.  Thanks for that.  If you are one of my readers I really do appreciate you!
