The “C” Word is too much!  It is in fact a bridge too far. #StopTheHate

Can God use Trump? Is he using Trump?

Before I elucidate on this subject, let me thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  Allow me to ask you to do something for me.  If you like what I am saying herein please repost it, or press it, or tweet about it.  My goal is to shed some light on this subject and see if we can’t turn the volume down some, on the hate in this country and around the globe.

“Hate is a poison that you take in hopes it will affect someone else.”

The amount of vitriol in this country is just incredible. The recent remarks by Samantha Bee regarding the president’s daughter, Ivanka, were so over the top, so charged with hate and venom, it floored me.

When did comedians stop being funny?  I find nothing funny or humorous about what Samantha said.  The “C” word when referring to a woman is just over the top messed up.  Using the “C” word when referring to someone you disagree with is the epitome of, “I don’t really have a good argument, so I will just call you names.”  To me, that is worse than the “N” word.  Frankly, it is offensive to the point of utter revulsion!

Why did it take you so long to apologize, did you take a poll?

I know what comedians are doing and why they are doing it but, they do a disservice to you and me as humans. They, in fact, dehumanize all of us with remarks like that.

There are several celebrities including the likes of Amy Schumer who spread their brand of hate using absolute lies. Kathy Griffin with the severed head was so over the top.  The comments by late-night comedians are not only vapid where facts are concerned but, also abhorrent when talking about not only a sitting president but those that voted for him or her.

I just cannot figure out why there is such vitriol in this country when it comes to Donald Trump. Do you think that the Comedians play any part?

Amy Schumer not only called Trump racists and homophobic, but she also likened all of his voters or supporters as KKK members.  Not stopping there, not unlike Hillary with her deplorable comment, she charged that unlike the smart people who supported Hillary “a Champion of women’s rights,” Trump supporters were just stupid.

Schumer’s rant in the Huffington Post months ago centered around a fake quote where allegedly Trump called all Republicans stupid.  That meme was baseless and later debunked by the liberal fact-finding entity known as Snopes.  Of course, it was debunked long after it had served its political purpose.

This one wanted to blow up the white house…Nope, no problem here nothing to see. We all love one another…Pffft!

Many on the left hold themselves as sacrosanct and above reproach. As the #Me2 movement took on a life of its own, we find that those who hide behind the veil of Hollywood are also far from perfect.  Did they wake up?  Did the pussy hat wearing Nasty women figure out that they are not perfect?

I doubt it, their trade is in hate and fear mongering. Not unlike Schumer, their reality is not based on fact but on hate-filled rhetoric that gens up the base.  Very sad actually.

Schumer and her ilk were campaigning for a woman who cheated Bernie Sanders, has no issues skirting around the law as if it does not apply to her and defends her husband’s lascivious behavior around other women. She, in fact, seemed to condone his affair with Monica.

Hillary was no bastion for women then or now.

While the lists of her epic failures as a politician are long, her shortcomings as a human being are even longer. Between her and Bill they could easily be the modern-day equivalent of Bonnie and Clyde while dealing in Uranium instead of small-time bank holdups.

Deleting and acid washing 33,000 emails after they were subpoenaed is a big deal, Amy!

Taking hammers to blackberries and other government-owned devices after they were subpoenaed is a big deal.

So why are those on the left so enamored with people who are so vile and corrupt?

This fact goes to the root of why you and I hate.

We do so because we are told to hate.

Our “dark side, or what I refer to as the demon within” is fed by their lies.  We, in fact, hate good news and will dismiss it when it is about someone we despise and will eat up any lie or bastardization of the truth if it paints our foe in a bad light. That is human nature.  The politicians know it, depend upon it, and uses it!

This simple fact is why the “comedians” are so successful in their efforts for their own fifteen minutes of fame.  All they have to do is identify a need and fill it.  There is a strong need to hate Donald Trump. It is easy to say things which are fallacious, salacious or scandalous which the haters will find delightful while coveting the shocking news which might paint him in a bad light.  They are in fact fed when someone says something ugly about Trump or his administration.  The news media was gleeful when the North Korean Summit was called off.

It would appear that the destruction of this country as we know it as long as Donald Trump failed would be ok with the media.  How sad is that?

There is a well-documented instance of this just a few months ago when Joy Behar was gleeful on TV when Brian Williams reported that Flynn would testify that Trump ordered him to collude with the Russians.
the-view-cast-810x610

If what they say carries a viral component, even if false, the damage will be done long before the Trump team can go on defense.  This is also true in any political campaign.

If you are not for this president, you are against this country!

There is a long and sordid history of media bias which they learned from the likes of Edward Louis Bernays. (1891-1995) Edward was an Austrian-American pioneer in the field of propaganda or (public relations.)

Without the complete science of the art, it boils down to emotion.  If I can stir up your feelings, I can manipulate you. You will notice that almost no political ads are based on logic.  They are almost all based on throwing grandma off the cliff or letting children starve or killing young animals, or death panels or taking old peoples money away.

To win an election, all I must do is paint the narrative of what is wrong, and who is responsible for it, and do so in an emotional way.

Sally Struthers enjoyed a long career of crying on TV for the starving kids by presenting them in your living room.  A very small percentage of the donations went to the cause.

struthers

Did you ever wonder why they just don’t take the money spent on the ads and feed the kids? Misery is a big business. Other organizations seem to also fall into that same boat which is just a shame.  We must as good stewards of our money do our due diligence on any company or organization that you intend to donate money to.

If its CEO is making tons of cash you had better look at what percentage of the money goes to the cause that you care about.

What is wrong, who is to blame for it, and what will you do to make it right.

What it takes to “right the ship equate to Campaign promises.” When made, few if any are rarely if ever kept.  In actual politics, it is about saying what the public wants to hear.  That is why so many say things which are not consistent as they travel the country.

The hope is that enough voters are so busy with the family, making ends meet, and of course, the kids and soccer that they cannot pay attention to the missteps of the candidates.  Add to the fray, football, basketball, baseball, Nascar and whatever is trending on Twitter, that Americans’ will grow tired of the political crap and tune out.

That is why we have “Fake News 24X7 on multiple channels.” All of them reading from the same script as they are all related.  Want the real news, try OAN.  The MSM has been trying to get them off the air since they started.  They must control the narrative.  That is why 98% of the news on CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS is negative regarding this president.

Unemployment is at the lowest rate in 50 years!  Pelosi was telling us Friday that those numbers mean nothing.  Just like the tax cut giving people larger paychecks mean nothing. According to Pelosi.

pelosi

Call me a conspiracy nut or a science fiction writer, which I am but…isn’t it odd that when many American’s are getting larger paychecks that the price of gas went up about that same amount?  Did someone call in a favor to those folks in the middle east?  They cut production raising the cost per barrel.  Why did they do it?

What would you care to wager that after the midterms they raise production back up?

Throughout history what comes out of DC is for the good of the rich and famous or possibly just the rich.  Unfortunately, it is more often than not the middle class who bears the brunt of the rape of the country and its finances.  Those that are hurt are the people who can afford to actually pay taxes.

middle-class-death

A common theme in the liberal agenda is confiscating guns.  Not sure why but, that is their end goal. We could speculate on the reasons but we don’t really need to.  We can look at countries where their guns were confiscated through history and get some idea what they might have in mind.

If you google gun control you will find that more recent post by left-leaning writers or sources attempts to debunk what despots do. Before long we may all have to go find books at the library as the stuff on the internet seems malleable.

This article is pretty close to correct but again, if you really want the truth maybe it is time to get a library card.

If you are still not convinced, go read about other repressive regimes in our current day and time and then connect those dots to human rights violations. You will see that there is a direct link between the more repressive the regimes the worse the violations.

coffin mexico

Lastly on this topic, we can speak of immigration.  29,000 people were murdered in Mexico in 2017.  Their government took their guns away as there was too much gun violence.  The cartels and gang members failed to get the message to turn their guns in.  Do you think that the criminal element here in the states would turn theirs in if the Democrats get their way and grab the guns?

    • Is it any wonder why so many from Central and South America want to come to the States?
    • Why does our MSM not talk about the murder rate in Mexico?
    • If Americans understood what was going on south of the border would it be an inconvenient truth?
    • For that matter why do they not talk about the murders in Chicago?

  • So what about Trump, do you like him?
  • Do you think God could use someone like Trump?
  • Do you believe in God?  Not judging just curious.
  • If you met Trump do you think you would like him as a person?

The Bible tells us we will know a good tree by its fruit.

While we are not to judge others we can glean a clue to who they are by their actions or works.

“Trump talked about grabbing some girl by the pussy!  He is a bad person!”

Hmmm, did he actually do that?  I mean did he actually reach between some ladies legs and grab her pussy?

Here is some food for thought.

We don’t know if he did or did not do it.  He says that he did not, and in fact was engaging in locker room banter with a friend who just happened to not be that great of a friend, as he was recording him.

With his hubris, it is more conceivable to me that he might say something crass like that just to brag to a friend showing his prowess or swagger.  Truth told, he is rich and there are a lot of “ladies” out there who would allow many things for a few of his financial favors.

“Cough … Stormy Daniels.”

Even I don’t see that one.  Again do what it takes to damage your opponent at all cost.

Do you remember this little picture?

melania new york post

They pulled out all the stops to try and discredit this president appealing to common decency.  That is funny coming from the left.

And let us not forget our friend Cruze finding yet another picture from her days as a model flooding every mailbox in Utah with it as “your New First Lady.” This was targeting the Mormons which is one of the few states Cruz won in the primaries.

Nothing is off limits during an election, and it would seem once you are in office.

If you look at Trump from a pragmatic standpoint, (not emotional,) you would know that he does not drink, do drugs or imbibe in many of the trappings of the rich and famous.  If he does nothing mind altering what could he do that the rich do?

  • They have gold plated toilets.
  • They have planes with their brand on them.
  • They have helicopters with their brand on them.
  • They have buildings with their name on them
  • I think Melania is beautiful although I am afraid that this job and its attacks are having adverse effects on him and his family.   I think the swamp is, in fact, fighting back with every weapon they can find.
  • I would say they enjoy nice food but we know he eats McDonalds and diet Coke.

“Hey, Mr.President Sir! , Try a Whataburger…their fries are better too!”

  • Oh yes, they might enjoy bragging about what they have accomplished or what they might do.

What joys does he obtain from being rich?

Looking at his last few months, I am amazed that he has not said “screw this!” and walked away.  A lesser man most certainly would have.  I know that Oberman and his ilk pray for that.  Their venom spews from every pore of their slimy subhuman existence, and yet Trump stays there in defiance. He is a fighter, you have to give it to him.  Like him or not he is a fighter.

oprah weinstien

With the Me2 movement, it is easy to make a claim that is fictitious where a celebrity is concerned and have it stick.  In fact, if it is a man involved, they are tried in the media and court of public opinion long before anything is ever proven.  The claim of guilt is damaging enough to have the same effect as if they really had done what they had been accused of.

Harry Reid knew this when he deliberately said from the Senate floor that Mitt Romney had not paid any taxes.  He knew it was a lie when he said it but he did anyway.  Months later when later interviewed about his prevarication by the press his response was “He didn’t win did he?”

In politics, the ends justify the means.  This is a sad and depressing fact that we would all do good to remember.  Nothing is off limits in politics.

I have no illusions of who Trump is or what he is about.  I believe that he is probably narcissistic. I do have an idea that this “job” he has undertaken, probably has humbled him some.  Just possibly God has something in mind for him.

The truth is, that God can use anyone for his glory, even Trump.

“TW, why do you say this about him.  Surely God could have found someone better?”

Every time that I try and second guess God, I am wrong.  I was thinking back to the kinds of people God used throughout history and I decided that I would probably not like any of them in person.

If we had the MSM back in the day, what would they have said about David or Paul?

Can you imagine what a 24-hour news cycle would look like when Jesus was walking among us?

David was a murderer, rapists and a bunch of other mean ugly nasty things and yet he was a man after God’s own heart!

Saul, later Paul, was someone who put Gods’ people to death and yet look at what God did with him!

Can God use Trump? Is he using Trump?

I most certainly would not have liked David, Paul, Calvin, Martin Luther and probably a whole host of heroes of the faith. Their character flaws would cause me to steer clear of them.

The Early church was so incredibly flawed and corrupt that one wonders why God did not strike them dead with lightning! Even in this day and time, we have bishops having sex with boys.  Hello, what are you thinking? WTF Over?

Back in the day, the church was the spiritual leader, the school and oh yes the government.   If you did not tow the line you might find yourself killed in a most unpleasant way.

  • Where was Jesus?
  • Who did he hang around?

We are told growing up that we are judged by the company that we keep. You lay down with the dogs you wake up with fleas.

Jesus was not hanging with the morally upright, was he?

I don’t hang around people with poor moral character …. Wait a minute…. What is in my books?  What do I write about? Am I being a sanctimonious hypocrite?

  • I write about science fiction but I also right about some rather racy stuff.
  • I write about lesbians.
  • I write about BDSM.
  • I write about romance from a different perspective.
  • I write about romance from a normal perspective.
  • I write about lust, greed, carnal appetite and
  • I also have a little bit of the Gospel in almost every novel.

I did not plan that, however.  I write from a stream of consciousness and it finds its way into most of my books.

Could God be using me to get in touch with a whole different audience that would never dream of picking up the Bible? Sometimes I wonder but I don’t question it.

I am not a hardline Christian.  In fact, I am rather pragmatic about it, and that comes through in my books.

“TW, how do you juxtapose living a godly life and getting or giving a delicious little spanking before screwing like rabbits?”  You will need to read some of my novels to see that little bit of fun.

I don’t live a godly life. I am flawed and far from Godly.  From what I have seen of most “godly people” I like who I am, just the way that I am. When I fall short, I hate that it happened and I try again.  Each time the cycle repeats.

Sin is actually a term from the Archers or archery.  It simply means to miss the mark. I often miss the mark but, I try to hit it always.

I love the sanctimonious who go to the church each and every time the door is open and then go out to lunch and look down over their readers along their long noses at the people who are already in the restaurants, dining in their shorts and sandals.   You can tell that they just climbed out of bed, rested and ready to eat and maybe go back home and play around or watch football.

The other day I was in a place after church and it was filled with parents and soccer players.  I heard another couple talking about them asking “Why do they play on Sunday Morning!?”

“Tsk tsk… Remove the log from your own eye…”

Look at how good and proper I am and how slothful and blah blah blah that you are.  I got up, got the family all dressed and cleaned up and went to church.  We fought all the way to church about this or that but, this is important!  We argued with the kids about why you will not sleep or play in church and we were there!  We are raising our kids in a godly fashion! People saw us!

From there we sat through the bible study, made nice talk to the others and then sat through ninety minutes of being made to feel guilty for not giving enough money or for having sex the other night. See how proper we are?

For you non-Christians out there here is a fun fact.  Did you know if you even think about hating someone it is equal to murder! Why would anyone want anything to do with that?

Sadly this represents many of the “saints” in today’s churches.  Is it possible that those that chose not to attend are better off?  What do they think that they are doing to their kids? Do they really think that when their kids leave home they will follow in their parent’s footsteps hating the battle that rages just to get into the building?

The hallmark of leadership is to lead by example.  I do attend church but not every Sunday.  If I don’t feel compelled to do something if asked, I tell them “no.”  I will not give more money than I can possibly afford, as we are called to be good stewards of our resources and that starts with not becoming a burden to someone else or to the state.

It is not up to me to judge you or anyone else, that is above my pay grade.

I do not look down at those who are not compelled to attend church.  I feel that the church has done a lousy job of marketing itself all through history.

“But TW, we need God, we need something, the world is going to hell! Why would you say all that stuff about murder and guilt?”

I said it because it is true.  It is also true that if you understand the Gospel as I do, you know that God is about grace.  We are not under the law. Those that think they are, wow, sorry about that.  If you want to know more, ask me.

I have given this possibly too much thought.  From the C-word to the N-word to people just hating on others through pseudonyms on social media.  Have you ever noticed how brave or brazen people are when they can be anonymous?

Come say it to my face, and then let’s see how brave you are.

I have a prescription for the world, tell me what you think.

  • What the world needs is less Hollywood.
  • The world needs to find a way to fix the family unit.
  • The world needs more Beaver Cleaver and Andy Griffith.
  • The world needs more time on the front porch with friends, family and neighbors and much less screen time.
  • The world needs more Fried Chicken, Apple pie and lemonade with the family and yes the extended family.
  • The world needs to get back to its roots of common decency and respect.
  • The world needs more “Yes Sir’s and Yes Ma’am’s.”
  • The world needs more children with the familiarity of the taste of ivory soap.
  • The world needs a few more spankings, both as a reprimand and as foreplay.
  • The world needs to turn off the noise and dial back the hate.
  • The world needs the Gospel as meant, and not as used as a tool for the prosperity of some who pervert the text and preach bigotry from the pulpit, while thinking they need their own private jet to spread the word.
  • We have skype pastor, you don’t need your own jet.
  • The world needs preachers who understand that God knew everyone before they were born and he created them anyway.
  • The world needs preachers that understand God holds them to a higher standard and will judge them more harshly.
  • The world needs to leave the judging to God.
  • The world needs more Pollyanna’s and less Brian Williams’s.
  • The world needs more balance of love and disdain vs absolute hate.
  • The world needs us to dislike our own sins and leave other’s sins for them to deal with.
  • The world needs people to lead by example, it starts with me and you!

“TW, I have read some of your books, how can you juxtapose God and Jesus and girls getting spanked naked on Webcams?”

Where do you think little Christians come from?

We all have that demon inside us.  We all fantasize a little, some of us more than others. Can you keep your demon in check, outside of your bedroom? God knew my heart before I was formed.  He knows yours too, and here you are.

My demon might come out to play through my keyboard.  My demon might speak to your demon and at the end of the day, they both can go back to their resting place until they come out to play once again.

I introduce the demon in Nudists of Shangri-la.  I think that there is very little gospel in those two books but my memory is a fragile thing.

As always, thanks so much for reading my blog, my books, and my tweets. I would be very appreciative if you would take a moment to spread this to your friends and followers.  Let’s see if we can #stopthehate and slow down the vitriol that seems to be poisoning us.

Much Love! -TW
