Sonny, You don’t know what you are talking about.

Years ago, while lunching with my best friend, getting older was the topic of discussion.  We both agreed that aging was not for sissies.

One of the first signs of aging is not the typical visual signals you might expect.  Hair turns gray and thins very slowly for most. Making those noises your parents made when you get up might take a while for you to recognize that sign.

Knowing your doctor’s office staff by their first names, and knowing their family history might be your first clue. When your social life revolves around which specialist you are visiting this week, just maybe the hint that you are getting older might set in.

For me, it was none of those things. It was something that I said.

The conversation drifted around different topics of the day.  The waiter comes up listening to us for a moment before he chimed in.  He was totally clueless.  His mind however was made up by some fragment of the facts someone had told him or, possibly something he had heard on the news.

My friend and I looked at each other, before I turned to glare at this kid.  The phrase never before uttered by me came out rather snobbishly. ‘Sonny, you don’t know what you are talking about.’

He walked away shaking his head while my friend stared at me and laughed.  “What?”

“Welcome to my world.”

I had to laugh as those words were never part of my diction.

Walking out the door my friend glanced at me and said…’They vote.’

The world is headed in the wrong direction. People without a grasp on history are controlling the narrative on social media.  Major Media sources are taking foreign dollars to print, or not print stories, that would paint those sources in a bad light.

Many that I know on social media only ever talk to me when they feel compelled to show their moral ambiguities, and myopic understanding of the world while chastising me.

Sonny, you really don’t know what you are talking about.  The fact checkers are twenty-year-old boys with man buns, who sit around in their undershorts putting in their time while reading from approved scripts from someone.

Get your facts from other sources other than social media, and use other search engines other than Yahoo, Google and Bing.  Algorithms are a thing.

What is one word that you cannot yell in a theatre just to be yelling words?

Fire…Why?

The human is more animalistic than some in polite society will acknowledge.  Humans, like any herd of animals, when threatened, will stampede.

When the concert in London was attacked, the subsequent stampede injured many.

We have a different problem today, and again people are too emotionally attached to the issue to deal with it objectively.  Politicians know this and count on it.  That my friends is just sad. They are using your emotions against you.

We are being played by the media to assist those on the extreme left.

When they resort to calling the right Nazis, you know that they have nothing.

Comparing those centers for those kids as internment camps and relating them to the Holocaust is so abhorrent, twisted and out of bounds, the left has lost it!

Most of these kids on the border are being trafficked, and their parents are looney tunes for sending them up here in the trunk of a car or in some cabinets or with coyotes. The border crises is to distract the media, the border control, and you from the drug traffic which they must get into this country as there is a demand for it.

Like the post office, UPS and Fed Ex the product must make it to the distributors. That poison must make it into the country and to you, the user.

While we are looking at the shiny object, the magicians make their deliveries.

As a bonus, half the country cannot stand the other half.  Thank you, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, and ABC! Whats next, a civil war? The Red States against the blue states?  How about the red counties against the blue counties?  How about the shirts vs the skins?  What will it be? When is enough hate sewn enough?

Personally, I like the idea of California becoming its own country.  Most of them already live in their own world if makebelieve and fairy dust why not just make it official?  Yes, fairy dust was a metaphor for cocaine.  Can’t sneak anything past you can I?

Do you think that the jacket Melania wore had a secret encoded message?

The folks mentioned above are apoplectic with rumors and speculation but what they don’t get is, it was a jab at them.

Let’s see how they spin it; five will get you ten it was a secret encoded message to Putin.

“Thank you comrade for all your help during the election, can you get moose and squirrel  to support us in 2020?”   Maybe not…

If you know the cipher, you can come up with the message but, you must first drink your Ovaltine.

Folks, #stopthehate… Love your neighbor as yourself and by all means, stop listening to this scourge on the airwaves.  They genuinely are fake news. They are pawns for the those that wish to destroy this country for their benefit.

I truly believe those in Hollywood peddling this hate only do it because they don’t get Fox news in California.   Governor Brown probably had it stopped at the border!  You know “Fair and Balanced!”

By the way… Rest In Peace Charles… You were truly fair and balanced and I miss your voice.  In that way, we all need to call em like we see them and be willing to admit when we don’t see them right. 

This new novel (#31) will be all about the power brokers and the insects.  Which one are you?

If we keep a tally on what this current crisis are costing the American Tax Payer, we need to send the bill to Mexico via the NAFTA trade negotiations.

 

I wrote over 2000 words in my latest novel last night by turning off the news and tuning out.

Thanks to all of you who follow me and read my work.  It means a lot to me. As far as this is concerned I need to get it out of me so I can write and not be steamed up about foolishness.
