Gamma-Ray Burst GRB 080319B

Did you see what I saw?

The following is an accurate recount of witnessing an event that happened 7.5 billion years ago.

The earth is four and a half billion years young. Think about that as I try to figure out how to tell the story…

I have always been a bit of an astronomy nut.  My heroes range from Tesla, Aristotle, Voltaire, Galileo, and the more modern folks Sagan.

Tesla was probably close to crazy, but he thought outside the box.  All of these men thought outside the box.

Einstein would be in this group, except he did not think his invention through to a logical conclusion.

I would never give ‘man’ as he exists in this time a weapon as he did.

From sticks to boulders to viruses, man will use anything as a technical advantage over their peers.  Instead of fixing what divides us, they spend time and energy to find better ways to subdue their enemy, their peers.  I digress.

7.5 Billion years ago, an event of monumental proportions was witnessed by yours truly.

March of 2008, my back was killing me, metaphorically speaking.

Switching on the hot tub, I was soon sitting outside in the cool night air soaking in a bubbling cauldron of chlorinated, heavily salted water.

As the water jets worked to soothe my spasming muscles, I allowed the steam to clear my head.

There is something magical about watching the night sky. Once while floating in the pool during a hot summer day, I witnessed an orange ball of fire with a turquoise flame at the front of it streaking toward the southwest from overhead.  There was no trail of smoke or sonic boom, so I figured it had to be pretty high up as it blazed through the earth’s outer boundary’s

Watching the shuttle chase the ISS was another one of my rare glimpses of human-made oddities in the night sky.

While binoculars are a favorite for searching the heavens, I did not have them that night in March.

Watching for satellites would be fruitless. My part of the world, including that area of space over me, was in total darkness.  It was a little after one in the morning when I switched off the jets and debated if I could get some rest or not.

Taking one last look at the heavens, a bright flash captured my attention.

For a brief second, I wondered if I had stayed in the hot tub too long, when there was another and still yet another.  A succession of flashes about the brightness of a car’s headlights on a dark road continued for a little over ten seconds.

A blast of white with a slight yellow and red color around the edges that resembled an inkspot, lit the night sky.

I sat back, watching them for a second, twiring around briefly to see if something from behind me was causing them.

No, there was nothing from the streets or in the house. There were no clouds of any kind.

My mind quickly took me to the Marfa lights.  I researched them after I went inside to see if the conditions were right for that phenomenon.  No and no.

What did I see?

Of course, Google searches rendered nothing.

Days turned into weeks of ‘nothing.’ I let it go.

One day, I am researching material for one of my novels, and what appears but an article on Gamma-Ray Bursters.

Focusing on the date and time and the sky’s location at that time of year, I found what I saw.

“It was a whopper,” says Swift principal investigator Neil Gehrels of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center. “This blows away every gamma-ray burst we’ve seen so far.” *

“No other known object or type of explosion could be seen by the naked eye at such an immense distance,” says Swift science team member Stephen Holland of Goddard. “If someone just happened to be looking at the right place at the right time, they saw the most distant object ever seen by human eyes without optical aid.” *

I remember as a kid watching the night sky. Orion is my favorite constellation.  I am sure it has to do with the horsehead nebula or Betelgeuse and its eventual demise.

Since the star is 642 light-years from here, it might already be gone.

Much like the Gamma Ray Burster that happened 7.5 billion years ago, time marches on.

Look up, my friends.  Check out that Y-axis if you will.  There is no telling what you might see.

Another Week in the Books

A mere 642.5 light years from here.

Hello fellow writers, poets and readers.   The sun is three hours from switching the stars off.  I took an opportunity to climb out of my warm bed to check out Betelgeuse.  A mere 642.5 light years from here it is practically in the neighborhood.

The star is a red giant and is part of the constellation Orion.  Orion is my favorite constellation.

While the Big Dipper was most probably the first one I learned as a child, Carl Sagan opened my eyes to much much more.  With his iconic Billions and Billions of stars, Cosmos was one of my favorite PBS programs.

My novel Under Roswell had an adapted image of him on the cover, which I painted.   Since the original cover, I changed it after re writing the novel.

This morning the temperature is 41 F, no wind and the stars were easily spotted.  Even with the moon, Mars still in its close proximity to us cast its reddish glow.

Betelgeuse is dying and for all we know it may already be dead.  Its luminance has waned dramatically last year which means 641 years ago, something happened.

This morning it seemed like it might be a little brighter than it was last spring.  Any number of things could account for its magnitude.  From air pollution to an actual change in the star.

Why all this talk about Orion and the Stars?

If you have ever walked into a cathedral and looked up, there is purpose for its size.  We don’t have an image or statue of God to compare our lives to but, we have ‘his house.’

I reject man’s attempt to compare man to god in such a manner.  I understand why they do it, but, I don’t need it to revere God.

Now my friends, if you stand beside the ocean, which is a perspective I can appreciate.

Find a night like tonight, and go out and look up.  There are Billions and Billions of stars and we are made of Star Stuff.  That is humbling and that is why I identify with Orion and Betelgeuse.

Make the most of the time you have.  Remember, hate is like a poison you take in hopes it will affect someone else.

Three Hundred Update

Now we learn that the face on Mars is not just our mind playing tricks.

This is a quick note to let you know that act II is well under way. At present, a small contingent of the ship has left for the surface of Mars.

While getting water from the polar caps, they found that upon closer inspection the FACE on Mars appears to have subterranean structures.

They have been stuck there for two days while I dream up what they will find.

Is this important to the story? Yes

Is it critical, not sure.

What will they find? You will have to follow me and wait like the rest of us to discover the true story on the face on MARS.

I hope you all had a perfectly splendid weekend and that your Monday is not too objectionable.

Drop Your Drawers

If you have read any of my racier novels, you might think of this as a prelude for some intimate moment.

That is not, however, what this is.  I know, I am sorry to disappoint you.  What this is about, is writing.  Let me take you back to a conversation of plotting vs. pansting.  (as in by the seat of.)

After taking a long hard look at Scrivener, I am thinking about purchasing it once again for my Macs.  I am a PC type person, but, programs like Vellum are only written for the MAC.  Vellum is the ‘cats ass’ when it comes to formatting your book.  You can either pay people to format your book, or, you can buy the program and do it yourself.

Vellum is very easy to use, which is the secret for Microsoft, and yes, the Mac OS as well.  Let’s contrast that with Scrivener.

I won’t give you a tutorial here on this blog about Scrivener, let’s just say it is not intuitive.  Is it worth it?

It is not the price for the software you have to consider; it is the learning curve.  Now add into the learning curve, is this the way you write?

As a Panster, I have resisted plotting any part of my novels.  I have a starting point, and I have an idea of where the ending place will be, and I kind of aim in that direction via a stream of consciousness.

Ok, so let’s drop our pants down to our undies and see where we go.

I would call on New Writers to get used to the idea of creating a logline first.  Let’s say you’re like me, laying there at night waiting for sleep to find you and this idea for a story is rolling around in your head.  What if?  is typically how it starts.

What if we had this guy that is digging around using a metal detector, and stumbles on to something that triggers his detector in a big way?  He is out in the country on land he recently purchased and built this metal detector from a kit.  He and his wife take off on Saturday for something to do as a husband and wife.  Ok, they have a metal detector, then what?

As they trace the arc of the signals returned to the device using little wooden markers, they discover that under their feet is a large metallic object.

While the reader is trying to guess what they found you, the writer is just writing it as if you are there with them, as the events unfold as it were.

What if you started your story with this?

A husband and wife spend the weekend looking for golden nuggets when strong signals send their metal detector into overdrive.  Moving a few boulders away from an outcropping buried by scrub brush, they find a metallic doorway with strange-looking controls by one side of it. Within moments they are inside an alien craft that was hidden by its occupants from centuries ago.

A good logline should be two sentences, not three, but 30 to 50 words or so is about right.

Let’s try again.

An undersea anomaly causing ships to sink brings the military and several different scientists in to solve the mystery.  As the secret unfolds, they discover an ancient alien civilization has been on Earth for hundreds of years, breeding with the indigenous people, creating those with god-like powers.

Ok, two lines 48 words.  This is a decent logline.  Now, as the writer, you take that logline and form an outline for your novel. Using something like Scrivener, you plot out your book, yes in your undies…ok not really.  You get the point.

Loglines are nothing more than a very brief tease to get the reader to open the book or buy tickets to the movie.  You, as the writer, can use them to keep you on target.

What might a tagline look like for this novel?

When the captain of a cruise liner barely escapes a disaster, he brings in the government, which discovers a city filled with aliens on the ocean floor.

These are all from my novel Ghost Signals of Colorado Springs.

If you are like me, sitting inside your house bouncing off the walls, take a trip to the stars in this futuristic adventure through time and space.  Please consider leaving a review on the site from which you purchased it.  Now, if you did not like it for some reason, please let me know here.  Feedback is critical for authors.

The Saga of the Starduster

Skinny dipping on an alien world was probably not their best idea.

When communications from Earth stop, Don soon discovered the reason why.  The ISS, where he and Sergey were the last two astronauts on board, became unwilling guests of the Ularins. Their world changed forever when their doctor learned Don was carrying cancer in his lungs.

An intergalactic spacecraft three times the size of our largest Aircraft carrier was now perched over the ISS.  Watching the stars disappear, Don and Sergey wondered who it was that was hijacking them.  Sergey was worried that they were to become an hors-d’oeuvre for aliens.

Convincing Sergey to leave the gun in the safe, Don was soon a visitor aboard the Starduster.  Convinced to remove his clothing and submit to a routine physical, every anal probing movie he ever watched played through his mind.

The Saga of the Starduster is one of TW’s signature novels.  Starting as Science-fiction, the book takes the reader on a wild ride through the galaxy with twists and turns that will keep the reader guessing until the epilogue.

As TW, like many others, are now sitting at home awaiting the virus to pass, the idea of wasting another moment worrying about it seems futile.

Take a mental vacation from your sequestration and enjoy a ride through the stars while sharing the furtive imagination of TW.

From Science-fiction to fantasy and yes to the racy side of life, TW strives to give the reader their money’s worth.

Follow the link for your mental vacation.  If you enjoy the ride, consider taking a moment to leave a review of my novel on the site you purchased it from.

As always, I will be happy to discuss topics of interest with you on the blog.

Bloggers or Boogers?

“What If?”

This is a short blog post on just something I noticed. It is the ‘What if’ that I told you was coming.

Over the years, I have developed a nice following of people such as ‘yourself’ who read what I write, some of you comment and most of you hit like.  When I take the time to go and look at your blogs I find that we are more alike then we are different.

Let me say that again, we have more in common than we do that divides us.

Years and years ago, my uncle piqued my interest in Amateur Radio.  I was five at the time when someone he was talking to was told that I was there visiting with him.  When they mentioned my name telling me hello from ‘New York.’ I was amazed.

I was five.  I had no clue where New York was.  All I knew that it was not anywhere close to Minnesota, where he was at the time.

I remember with crystal clarity the scent of freshly cut hay.  His radio tower was in a field.  The afternoon sun was sinking, and the shadows from the trees to the west crossed the field like vast swathes of darkness over an otherwise golden vista.  As soon as the shadows hit you, the air-cooled off several degrees.  For a child of five from Texas, it was magical.

We listened to many different people that afternoon when we picked up some fellow from Australia.  His accent was so awesome I knew I had to get into this.  I was five.  I know I am repeating it because it is crucial to the story.

At eight, I had taught myself basic electronic theory and by thirteen had my first FCC issued license.  In those days we used tubes and the test was not multiple guess.  You had to know Morse code and oh, by the way, many built their own equipment.

The transmitter I built from old TV parts scavenged from garage sales and a borrowed crystal from a local radio club.  Yes, I got shocked a few times but I am here to talk about it. Hobbies like this are not just for boys.

Also, in those days, there were countries we could not legally talk to its citizens, if we were in some war the Feds could tell you not to use your transmitter.  Our speech was restricted to technical things about the hobby and weather.  ( I think it still is, however, I hear politics all the time.) We could not discuss politics or other things that might tip the enemy off…

The enemy…think about that.

I got into radio to meet you, or people like you, who were like-minded.  I did.  I talked to the kings of countries, which are no longer countries. I have spoken with people from all walks of life from surgeons to bricklayers.

Here on this blog, I speak with many who have a love of writing or reading and telling a story.

Many of you who follow me, are from countries that I would love to visit, Russia being one, Ukraine is another. India is another, which I would love to visit one day.  I cannot mention all of the countries that people live in who read this blog, or write to me, rest assured those communications are probably monitored by all kinds of secret spies looking for Boris Badenov or Natasha.  You will not find Moose and Squirrel on this blog.

If you read my sci-fi books you will find the technical details for building a ‘matter anti-matter bomb.’  You will also learn how to time travel and get from one galaxy to another in months.  Under Roswell holds all the secrets to some of the most powerful weapons of the century.  BWAHAHA!  God, I hope some government buys it just to find out that the computer of the ship is into controlling humans for its own deviant enjoyment.

If you want to learn how to cure cancer, I have that for you too in Saga of the Starduster.  I also tell you the fate of the Earth with the knuckle draggers in charge.  Want to see into the future if we don’t change our ways?  Read my number one bestseller.  Oh, and you also find that you are running around the galaxy in a ship full of nude aliens.

My point and the ‘what if’ is this.  Those of us on this blog, if we could all be in one room together; what do you want to bet we would all get along famously?  I don’t care what country you are in or where you grew up.  I don’t care what race you are or gender.  You might even identify as a gender not created yet, but, I would bet money we would all get along.

It is the ‘megalomaniacs’ of the world that stuff it up.  They stuff it up so they can control the herds.  As long as you perceive the other guy as bad, that is all they need.

Those craving power by controlling the masses with lies, and whatever other leverage they have, are the ones who screw up society as a whole.  The media is their accomplice and you have to wonder what hold they have over them to lie to the world.  Someone tells them what to say, and they all repeat it like reading some damned script.  They even use the same words.

What if…an alien race came and monitored our radio and video.

What would they think?

Do you suppose they would want to be ‘friends’ with us and share technology?

I think they would come closer to exterminating us and taking the raw materials for their own use.

I don’t think the world as a whole is immature and backward but, I do think there are some knuckle draggers who make the human-race look like an ant colony might to aliens. Pests.

For the record alien dudes, if that is your plan, I promise you there are people on this planet that are not mere troglodytes for the ‘elite.’  Some of us actually think.   Start with the followers of this blog.

That is my ‘what if’ that I promised you earlier.

#bloggersunite

In the blogosphere and seemingly on other social media we are relatively free to say what we want.  I wish all countries had this freedom.  I think you would be pleasantly surprised that once we dispelled the lies that we grew up with, that the people of the world could unite in ways that would astound you.

I know we are being lied to because I have ways to communicate with people in other countries.  The trick is how do we get the truth out to the masses?  How do we get our respective governments working for the people again, and not their own effing bank accounts?

The answer is we take the power away from the government, and give it back to the people.  That sounds easy but just wait until you try.

Much love people and thanks for the follows.

Comments are always welcome as long as they are civil.

Another Life…A Shift too far!

I wanted to like this!  I really really did!  I know this is piss poor writing, but this is dialogue, right?

I digress…

I stopped watching halfway through Episode 8.  I don’t know if the writers were stoned, high or just sophomoric but…it was too much!

In the first episode, I had to force myself to allow the writers their agenda on Climate Change and Gay Pride.  None of which has any place in this Sci-Fi.   When we write and put in details like that those details need to be germane to the story.

I have written about climate change before. If you read my blogs, you know that our ‘climate’ in large part is controlled by the amount of ‘BTUs,’  that reaches the earth from the sun.  Go check out that blog if you are curious.

LGBT stuff.

I personally am not gay.  I have friends that are, I champion them but, I don’t want to see men or women kissing or…for that matter I don’t want to see men and women kissing and so on.  I am confident that there are streaming services where one could watch all of the porn, gay, straight, or otherwise, that they could handle.

Had they implied it, I would have been ok with it.  The subtle implication of the little girl’s shirt was enough.  I don’t need to be bludgeoned with your feelings on homosexuality!

I gave them the little girl wearing the shirt.  I allowed the ‘doctor’ to be Trans.  I tried to overlook the absolute lunacy of putting psychotic people in space while in charge of such a critical mission. I even looked past the Gilligan’s Island in space trope.  Lastly, I tried to dismiss the ‘but fortunately,’ syndrome that these writers employ.  (That is the mark of piss poor writing BTW.)

As writers, we must know our audience.  SCIFI is not the audience for LGBT heavy-hitting writing or acting.  I would love to know who is in charge of allowing this kind of writing to guide the industry.  Not only did I stop watching halfway through E-8, but I also find little redeeming programming on Netflix as a whole.  I understand that Disney will soon be releasing its streaming service, which will include Hulu.

I don’t watch much so when I do…I want quality programming, and Netflix seems to be missing the mark.  We vote with our feet or in this case our remote or pocketbook.  I will be ending my multi-year relation with Netflix very soon.

Someone somewhere must be producing quality programming that does not shove a myopic view of the world down our throats. I don’t go to baseball or football games for political bullshit, and I don’t spend good money on programming that inundates me with a way of life I don’t practice. What you do in your bedroom is your affair and none of my business.  In public, you should behave in a manner which is congruent with societal norms.

Speaking of Disney, I was there with my daughter.  Gay Pride week was the following week, a few days after my scheduled departure.  Escorting my young daughter around the park, two men approached us on a bridge over some muddy water.  Seeing us, they quite deliberately embraced each other. Blocking our path, they began a display of pure eroticism, where we were held hostage to their demented ideas of ‘sticking to the system.’

In this case, the system was a young girl, and myself. They were using their sexuality as a weapon, and they were beating up a little girl, not to mention myself. It is hard to win the hearts and minds of the masses when you are a bully. I do not believe they speak for the LGBTQ crowd.  They were just assholes!

For those of you, who fault me for expressing my opinion, thinking ill of me for daring to say anything negative about LGBTQ stuff…You’re wrong, and it is your problem, not mine.

Read most any of my novels, and you will see that for yourself.

In this country, we can express how we feel about anything, including Trump!  This is not Russia or China. I can dislike a person who happens to be of color, without being a racist.  I can abhor two men kissing without being a bigot or homophobe.  I can love another person of the same sex without being gay.  I personally detest labels, and I wonder why the gay community does not.

We need to not be cowed by those that would silence us, and I for one will stand up for those principles.

Yes, the LGBTQ stuff pushed the plot way past the point where I could enjoy, or try to enjoy the writing.  It was not science fiction; it was pushing an agenda much like those two men on the bridge. Had it just been myself, I dare say they would not have done that, or at the very least; my reaction would have been much different.  I don’t tolerate bullies! I think the two of them would have been in the muck under the bridge, had it just been myself.

Care to guess why Kelly McGuire in Presidential Assassins is a kick-ass Ginger?  Don’t mess with a redhead!

One of my favorite novels, which I wrote, is called Diamond Joe.  There, I champion the rights of the LGBTQ.  If you pick it up, you know that it is a romance between two women.

Much love -TW

Netflix Another life continued.

‘But Fortunately’ Should not be in a writers tool box.

But Fortunately!

AHHH!  This story could be so much better.   Netflix, hire a consultant from NASA, would you?  Hire Michelle Thaller, she could assist you in making this a little more believable.

After yesterday, I wrote about the miserable failure of this series and then I slept on it.  Things like this trouble me.  Much like working for someone else, I will give no less than my best, and I expect my employees to do the same.

Today I watched a few more episodes during my lunch and dinner break.

I must say that they seriously need to hire a technical advisor, as anyone with a brain in their heads would know better than to do the stupid shit that they do.  Not only are there mistakes like this but also while they are supposed to be on the other ship, the camera clearly pans past stuff that is from the ship she is on.

Oh, we have a contagion, we must all step into the airlock and be jettisoned into space.

Nevertheless, fortunately, we discover a cure at the very last second.

However, unfortunately, there is not a source of gamma radiation strong enough on this star.

But, Fortunately, there is Gamma radiation on another star, so we are all saved but…We are now all sterile.  Oh no!

We are all going to die because we are drinking recycled urine and the food is running out, but fortunately, there is a moon in the goldilocks zone, which has all the stuff of life.

Oh isn’t this flower pretty let me inhale its alien pollen and sit back and chat with my friend.

Oh, let’s suck up thousands of gallons of alien water and just fill up our water supplies on the ship, which makes perfect sense.

I do have an observation that I cannot resist sharing.  Who in their right mind designed the engineering area to look like some steampunk submarine engine room complete with gauges from the fifties?  Oh and with grease.  They are using tools that would actually fit the era of the submarine.  Is that the best you can do?

The little girl is still adorable, the witchy boss is hateful, and that reporter is just…hmmmm.

The scene in the bar playing trivia did not fit anywhere.   The acting was sophomoric at best. Just possibly, you should consider borrowing some flying sharks.

Ok, I need to say something nice.  It is so hard….

I am glad the bitch died.  She needed to die a horrible death saving the mission and true to the end, she wants the credit for doing so. Much like the wicked witch of the west she just melted….

Please don’t misunderstand that I am glad the character died, she was a bitch.  I loved the actress and I hope they bring her back.

The writers are ‘arcing the characters,’ which I noticed…

The person with the alien bug in his head will probably be the next Dr. Smith, and they should leave his ass on a planet…I digress.

Here is the truth of it.  There is barely just enough to entice me to watch episode seven at a future date.  This is not the kind of thing that I would binge-watch.  If my hands are busy feeding my face, I will watch something.

Note to writers…But Fortunately should not be in your writing. Find other ways to craft your story, where there is not magic beans and happenstance to save their assess.  Have them act, as professionals would be a good start.   You can still have the drama but gees…if this is what future humanity sends into space, we are screwed and will go the way of the T-Rex.

That is my official post on this series…Lol

If you want a good read my novel Earth’s Tipping point is on KU.  It is a shame as it only puts money in Bezos’s pockets but, it is still a good read.

Cheers -TW

Mars..Are we from there?

It would be fun to write a blog on the men are from mars and women are from Venus book. Different topic…

It is no secret that I am a science fiction writer.  If you did not know that, you are not reading things too carefully.  I was looking at this old picture of mars.

Mars-NASA

Here you can see what they are calling the Grand Canyon on Mars.

I would think this is more like the Marianas Trench on mars.

maxresdefault (1)

It takes little imagination to see that there were once great oceans covering the red planet.

mars

  • What happened?
  • Was there life on Mars?
  • Did we come from Mars?

Whether we are descendants of the red planet or not I think it would behoove us to learn where the atmosphere on Mars went and where did the water go.

As I was researching this I found that scientists are finding plastic bags and other forms of trash in the Marianas Trench.  Just possible we should go look in the trench or grand canyon on Mars for trash or other signs of a past life…or the water…

Thoughts comments and conjecture on this subject are welcome here.

The revised version of Tipping Point now 92K words is on Amazon and it is a free read on Amazon Kindle Unlimited.  Jeff Bezos is getting a divorce and his ex-bride needs money…So read my books, and help her out… 🙂

If you like my novels please consider leaving feedback.  Once a book receives over 50 (feedbacks) Amazon actually starts to assist authors like myself at that point and suggest it to other purchasers.

Come Away With Me…

Yes, it is that easy to take a trip to another galaxy and never leave your comfy reading place!

I love Norah Jones, well I love her music… I have no idea what kind of person she is but if her music is any indication of her soul, I would love to know her.

I was thinking of this as I was working on a new novel this evening.

While music resonates with my soul and who I am, my words, thoughts, and imagery are what I offer to you the reader.

As I take you on that mountaintop in Under Roswell or that fantasy in deep space or under the ocean, I invite you to come away with me.

Together we shall travel the depths of the oceans or the skies miles above them.  We can learn some secrets of the universe or what lies beneath the sea in Ghost Signal from Colorado Springs.

So come away with me through these novels that I have created.

I try not to let the news of the day affect me or my creative style, but it often does.  I see it time and time again as I witness the sheer lunacy of those in charge and the crazies out there rebelling in destructive ways.  Movies and novels are a form of escapism, so I offer you a pathway out of the trials and tribulation of life or your particular rut.  Come away with me through my words as we travel together saving a race of beings from their short-sightedness.  Might we learn something from them that we can use in our world?  Come away, and let’s find out!

I received an e-mail asking me if I really meant it when I signed my writings with “Much Love?”

“Of course I do!”

The followers here on WordPress and of course twitter and most importantly the base of readers building worldwide… They have come away with me.  What about you?

Out of thirty novels, certainly, you can find one that interests you.  Take a journey with me through Scotland in the Girl Nextdoor. This book is full of magic!

Discover that all life has meaning in the Hole in Time series.

Come away with me as we learn that love comes in many shapes and sizes.  Diamond Joe is probably my most romantic novel where part of me is in that book. I love reading it again and again as I found parts of myself, my soul within those words. I have put it back on sale through the spring for less than a cup of coffee from Starbucks.

Come away with me and listen to the seabirds calling to you too.  There is magic in their cries, can you hear it?  Come, lets listen together…

From adventure to Sci-Fi to something slightly tawdry I have tried my hand at it.  I did it to attract the many different readers out there that might want to come away with me for a bit.  Most of the comments from readers are food for my soul, and I much appreciate them and you.

As time permits, do Come Away with Me… I won’t sing you a song but, I will tell you a bedtime story, or I will entertain you on a rainy day where a comfy chair and hot tea awaits you on our journey to somewhere.

If you are so moved, please invite your readers or friends to come away with us, as we discover what lies behind that wormhole, or perhaps through that door.

Much Love -TW
